Circle Skirt

I'm in love with owls so I really wanted to try this fabric to make my first circle skirt.  It has a different type of elastic waistband that is a separate piece of material than the other elastic waistband skirts I have made.  I think it makes it look more finished and professional.  When I do this skirt again, I will lengthen it and make it more like a 50s style poodle skirt....without the "poodle"  The second picture of Mackenzie wearing the skirt unfortunately did not turn out too well.  But her hair looks good!
